So whilst trawling through the internet last night I stumbled upon the work of Alexander Binder a German photographer who creates mystical and ethereal artworks influenced by childhood memories, imagination, the Black Forest and the music of Sunn o))).
I appreciate the fact that he is self taught and uses self made lenses, proving it’s not all about expensive kit and years at art school. The subjects of his artwork involve simple everyday scenes and objects that shimmer and glisten giving a magical, beautiful effect.
